Garden Of Bliss

This ship I sail takes me away from thee,

So afar beyond the reach of my love.

I hold thy beauty like a fragile pedal,

I am lost at sea a lonely dove.

Cold are the nights dark and gloomy,

Stealing my senses forgetting thy place.

Hoping that time won't still your heart,

My love I shan't forget your face.

The scent of your hair lilacs strong,

Keeps the madness from taking hold.

Skin alabaster tresses cascading,

Golden red like the sun at morn.

In the garden I shan't forget our first kiss,

Pink roses you held so delicately in your hands.

Your beauty overwhelms me my senses are lost,

Two lovers embracing a moment of bliss.

Feeling thy heart beat upon my breast,

Thy lips so sweet encasing my youth.

In a cloud of ecstasy I dear not breath,

Elevating thoughts I shan't put to rest.

One stolen kiss on the first night we met,

A moment of bliss forever in my heart.

Thy sweet lovely lips beckon unto me,

This state of elation I shall ne'er forget.

Seven Bright Young Astronauts

With excitement we did watch you
As you took your flight to space
Sunshine bright blue skies above
We will never forget your face

Your families watching anxiously
Viewed by all the world to see
Prayers were said hugs were met
We all stood nervously

Emotions overwhelmed by all
As your shuttle lifted off that day
Millions clasped their hands together
In many languages they did pray

Seven bright young astronauts
Fulfilling at last their dreams
Soaring high above the earth
God's angels by all means

Thoughts would fill us all that day
Imagining what you would see
Seven bright young astronauts
About to make history

Accomplishing your mission
Many wondrous things you shared
Seven bright young astronauts
A family you were there

Americans watched proudly
Your shuttle speeding from a high
But excitement turned to tears that day
Flames bursting from the sky

Seven bright young astronauts
Families left in endless pain
Children wives mothers fathers
Never to see you again

A nation grieves your loss today
Your families in our prayers
You'll never be forgotten
As we cry these endless tears

Love Of My Child

My little child born of love
Sitting and watching the stars above
Searching the sky for things unseen
This perfect child of a human being

Your sparkling eyes so wide and a glow
Not knowing yet were your life will go
You dream of toys and climbing mountains
Of candy ice cream and colorful fountains

Your perfect hands and face to match
Someday you'll be a little girls catch
So go and see the world my son
Find happiness running and having fun

A little girl with golden red hair
Of skin so soft and oh so fair
Weeping willows and clear cool streams
To share your hopes loves and dreams

Of stallions running bold and wild
A sight to share with you and your child
Of sitting out on a chilly morn
Watching the sun come up at dawn

Holding your son upon your lap
Watching him take his afternoon nap
Go now my child my precious gift
Find your life with a candle lit

Let it guide you on moolnlit nights
Teach your child how to take flight
Remember the love I gave to you
Share it with those old and new

Don't ever forget your hopes and dreams
Weeping willows and all life's schemes
Take my love through good times and bad
Lessons learned when you were a lad

I love you my son your grown and a man
Your son is asking for his life's plan
Guide him love him give him support
Teach him the things that I have taught

His Heart

Hearts do cry so they said
But hearts don't cry they just bleed red
Who should know that more then He
His heart bleeds red for eternity

Suffering you thought you knew
He so suffered for me and you
Pain beyond the heavens above
Truly now this is endless love

His heart is filled with love for all
Love forever He awaits the call
Endless, unfailing, eternal gift
Don't let go or go adrift

He waits for you to live with him
Share his kingdom sing His hymn
Prayer, compassion, cleanse your soul
He opens his heart to make you whole

I Thank Thee Lord

I thank thee Lord for all you've done
For sending us your only Son
To take our sins and cleanse our souls
This world so sinful out of control

I thank thee Lord for all you've done
For sending us your only Son
To walk with us and feel our pain
This world so lost so insane

I thank thee Lord for all you've done
For sending us your only Son
To give us love beyond our dreams
He crowned the mountains walked the streams

I thank thee Lord for all you've done
For sending us your only Son
He suffered at the hands of man
Speaking the words of our Master's plan

I thank thee Lord for all you've done
For sending us your only Son
Heart about to burst from being used
Beaten tortured blood flowing abused

I thank thee Lord for all you've done
For sending us your only Son
A crown of thorns thrust in His head
Upon His soul ignorant soldiers tread

I thank thee Lord for all you've done
For sending us your only Son
Sinful evil betrayal wicked beings
Cast Him out among the thieve's

I thank thee Lord for all you've done
For sending us your only Son
His Mother's heart wrenching with pain
Watching her Son beaten and chained

I thank thee Lord for all you've done
For sending us your only Son
Excruciatingly taking every step
As up to Calvary he had crept

I thank thee Lord for all you've done
For sending us your only Son
Drenched in blood from crown to feet
The evil watching devouring his sheep

I thank thee Lord for all you've done
For sending us your only Son
Atop the mountain no strength left
A cross he carried to meet his death

I thank thee Lord for all you've done
For sending us your only Son
Clothing stripped body flung to the ground
His red robe each soldier tossing around

I thank thee Lord for all you've done
For sending us your only Son
Lifted upon the cross arms open legs crossed
Hands feet with nails into them forced

I thank thee Lord for all you've done
For sending us your only Son
Forgive them Father they know not what they've done
Torturing flaying you're only begotten son

A Little Something About Me

I am a Search Angel on the Internet. For those who do not know what a SA is/does I will do my best to explain. I help Adoptee's, Birth Mother's or anyone connected with Adoption looking for a loved one.
In my heart I believe that everyone has a right to their Heredity and most importantly their Medical. I am not the best SA on the Internet, but, I put my heart and soul into what I am doing as I so truly believe in this cause.
I had a daughter on March 19Th, 1965 and I named her Pamela Anne. I relinquished my daughter in great hopes that she would have a better life as I was too young to give her what I thought she needed. Oh, I could have loved her to death, but, I knew that was not enough. I adored her from the moment she was born and always will. It was the hardest decision I ever, ever, made.
I found my daughter when she was 19teen. We exchanged visits. She to my house and me to her parent's house. It was a little uncomfortable at first, but, I was there to see my "daughter" and meet her parents. I cared less if she looked like me or not, I just wanted to spend some quality time with her. She is a lovely young lady.
Her Mother shared some pictures with me and I have to say she was adorable in her ballet picture. I was promised a picture of my "daughter" but never received it. I gave my "daughter" her very first picture from the hospital right after she was born and her original Birth Certificate, which I know was/is very important to Adoptee's.

I shared some time with her Mother. I don't think my "daughter's" Mother was very reciprocating. I shared a "not" very comfortable moment when she sat back, extended her arm with her hand next to my head and said something that I will never forget. She said, (in a very sny way) "you look nothing like my daughter." I said, "no, she looks like her "father." I never thought much of this as I could care less what anyone thought of me at the time. As time went on, and over the years, I thought about that moment, and , if I had to do over again, I would probably have said, "well, she may not look a "whole lot" like me, but, she has my blood running through her veins and without me you would not have her, and, besides, she looks nothing like you either, but, who cares as long as she is happy and well.

I will extend on this further when my hands and fingers are rested as I have Fibromyalgia and Psoriatic Arthritis.

God Bless, Ari
Today is February 3rd, 2009
I stayed for a few hours with my daughter and her family and met her brother who was also adopted. We decided to meet for dinner and my Sister came along with us (my Sister was also with me when I met my daughter's parents).
We went to dinner and talked about similarities and family. My Son, Jeremy, was 6 years old at the time and had also met his Sister. I noticed my daughter loved hot food. I mentioned to her that Jeremy also loved hot food. We then went for coffee to an outside restaurant I believe it was and we talked about meeting her birth Father. I debated for many years on what to tell my daughter when/if I ever met her, about her birth Father as it was a rape..... it paraded my brain almost every day of my life. I had no idea what to say as I did not want her to know that she was conceived under such horrible circumstances. I made that decision after meeting her...it just came out when she asked me. I decided in that split second that he was not worth the spit on this earth, but, also, I would not want to go into a false relationship with my daughter. Her response jolted me by using some explicit language and making reference to shooting his manhood away. Understandable for sure.
One day I decided to send my daughter some cards to let her know how I felt and that I was thinking of her. I believe a few cards were received by her and then one day I found a few in my mailbox saying "return to sender." At that moment I can only say I felt this emptiness and hollow filling in the pit of my stomach...like taking that big dive on a roller coaster. I called her and asked why they were returned and she said, "my mother was upset" and "I could never call you Mother." I told her I did not expect her to refer to me as Mother, that, I wanted to be friends with her.
December came and it was around Christmas. I decided to send my daughter's Mother a lovely Poinsetta. I never heard from my daughter again until I believe some years later. I tried to keep in touch with her over the years and got nothing but insults and anger. I understood her anger as a lot of adoptee's have rejection issues...not all, but, many. I tried to defend myself, but, there was/is a brick wall as thick as the pacific ocean.
I decided that the best form of action would be to just separate and disconnect myself from my daughter. It took a few years with a lot of sorrow, heartache and tears, but, this is what I thought was best for me. Hopefully, with time and His love she comes to terms with her life and realizes I love her and I will always be here for her.
Not every reunion turns out the way mine has, and, I hope if you are searching for your birth mother, birth father, etc. that my experience will not hinder your search in any way. Don't fear the unknown in searching. Yes, it is a roller coaster ride of emotions. Go into your search with open eyes and an open heart. Plan your search and take it one day at a time. There is no single solution or remedy for pain. Just realize anything can happen and its not a fairy tale. I am ok with my decision and I know that she is well....I hope she is happy. God Bless Ari

I Have An Illness

I have an illness you can't see
Sometimes it gets the better of me
Excuse me if at times I sound gruff
I probably am but life can be tough

It's not like a cold cough or sore throat
Can't be covered with a warm wooly coat
It can't be cured fixed or washed away
It's here with me till my dying day
It has introduced me to many things
Restless painful nights it runs free
This disease I have hides inside
Comes out to play loves making me cry

It's a proud disease that shows no emotion
Wreaking havoc day and night causing quite a commotion
I give it my all trying to push it away
But it insists on coming out to play

So if you think you can boss toss me around
This disease you don't see that has no bounds
Has applied for the job a long time ago
So step back think and take it slow

*Ignorance Is Bliss
You could have gotten to know me
All you needed was to ask
But instead you hid behind your door
Living with pain from your past
I tried in vain to reach your heart
This place of life I thought to start
Your lust for knowledge a way to escape
You did not need this to be so great
My sister all these things you achieved
Only to take them when you leave
Everything you stored away
Your love beauty wasted this day
To leave behind so many in sorrow
Not to have gotten to know you tomorrow
A loss so great too much to bear
I wish you knew how much we cared
Three brothers two sister all involved
Thoughts invading our heads unresolved
Will we all learn a lesson from this
Probably not ignorance is bliss

My Season

This life I have so dull and drawn
Alone I sit from dusk to dawn
Listening for footsteps noise in the dark
Anything someone even a dog's bark

Tree's letting go of its summer leaves
Tumbling crumbling to the ground with ease
Skies turning gray no storm in sight
What a dreary lonely start of night

The sun trying to stay but in vain
Oh! The night here it comes once again
Cold winds blowing a chill in the air
No one around to even care

Children running playing outside
Falling down while running to hide
Mother's with baby's born in the summer
Walking talking with newborns tucked under

I'll sit here and wait someone will come
If not someone for sure the sun
I'll close my eyes and try to dream
Seasons to come seasons between

Fears

I'm lost so deep within myself
A place to hide without self doubt
This shell I mold every day
To keep the pain and loss away.

Don't know when it all came about,
Can't seem to really figure it out
So tired of running and trying to hide
And now I suffer so closed inside.

Every day I search my brain
Feeling close to going insane
But, I'm okay, I know I am right
I'm giving these demons a dam good fight

I don't need help or meds to feel alive
I'll take one day at a time I'll survive
After all I came this far on my own
All I need is my talent and I'm home

Sleeping all day awake all night
Thoughts berating my brain what a fight
Tomorrow will come and I will start anew
What's one more day with nothing to do

I've come so far in so many years
Fighting the thoughts, anger and fears
I know I can do it, I've done it before
I'm strong and able to close the door

So many losses along the way
I handled them well think about them all day
Crying incessantly over all the lost years
Alone in my nightmare with all my fears

God help me I'm so angry and confused
So tired of being used and abused
I'll leave it at that life is a lie
We're born, pay bills and then we die

Dear Grandma

I love the time you spend with me
Reading me stories sitting on your knee
Holding me tight so I won't fall
Feeling your love most of all

Giving me cookies and a glass of milk
Keeping my flower even tho' it has wilt
Walking in the park holding hands
As I listen intently for tomorrows plans

Best part of Grandma's is that kiss goodnight
When the angels come and take me to flight
I love you Grandma you are my heart
You've been my valentine right from the start

My Dear Friend

Your the sister I never had
Your the friend that will always be
I treasure our special time together
Our secrets held till eternity

Sharing a cry over a boyfriend lost
Understanding your pain forever embossed
When ever you need me I will always be here
To brighten your day and wipe away that tear

So brew the java and put up your feet
Relax take five and think of me
Your warm, caring, your smile makes my day
Remember to call me cause you chase the blues away

Maiden's Madness

The castle cold and so abound, with rat's and echo's of lost souls around. My love at sea fighting for thee, no where a voice to be found. Fair maiden I am, old maiden I'll be if my love returns not from the sea. Not a blush will he see upon thy face, a maiden pale without thy lace.

What's this I hear a beckon call, a voice of anger as I recall. Of darkened nights and endless plights, I fear the dark and desolate nights. These voices calling out to me lonely voices from the lea. Empty fields I search at night, through windows barred... such a fright.

Am I so mad from being pent? A madness, perhaps...witches sent? My love for thee so strong and yet, my thoughts of thee will I forget? Who goes there is it thee? My voice it echo's nervously. Thy red hair losing color fast, skin so pale and color ash.

Tis' years it seems to me as best, my head I have not laid to rest. Heart aching from the loss of touch, my dearest one I miss so much. Tho' skies are blue upon my view, tis' blackness I feel will ensue. Thy lips of red are turning pale, bread upon thy table stale.

I cannot, must not, let it be. I will not let it encumber me. What's that you say, hasten all? Take thy dagger to breast and fall? Oh! Thy voice can not fool thee, this dagger is not honed for me. The morrow ill bring morning dew, of things to start the day anew.

Tis' only years I wait for thee, I'll sit here pondering endlessly. A fruitless maiden I will be...this dagger will not threaten me. I'll drink this potion made by thee, to comfort that which burdens me. With love professed and written so, to take this drink to sleep I go.

A gift of love - of flesh and blood
A tiny bit of heaven
Let's gather round and celebrate
This joy we have been given.

Jeremy you have given us
Such happiness and love
To know that He created you
So special from above.

We make memories of times to come
Of hours and days and years
The blessings we will keep with us
No sorrows and no tears

We take your little hand in ours
We feel the love inside
So blessed to have you living here
Ours heart so filled with pride

When you think about the many firsts
A new life has to face
You'll need your mom, dad, grandma, grandpa, alike
To help you find your place.

Love Mom & Dad
